Dear Planning Commissioners,
I am writing to you today regarding APPL-0232-2024.
The project at 1925 is a proposed small apartment complex next to historic homes. It seems it will be very out
of place compared to other projects in the historic railroad district. All other houses in this area are mainly 1
story, with the exception of a few 2 story houses. This project does not seem to comply with city historic
preservation documents.
Not only that, but the proposed apartment complex would take away the privacy of not only my partner’s house
and patio, but all the neighbors around as well. Also, the light coming from the apartments would shine right
into everyone’s backyards and houses, making it much harder to sleep at night.
So, please support the appeal, and keep the historic district historic.
