Downtown Summer Spending Update
•Downtown Summer Spending Promotion

•Win big for supporting local!
•Week #1 Highlights:
•Nearly 100 downtown businesses are
participating
•Nearly 300 entries received in the first week
•About half of the entries reported spending more
than $100 on their qualifying entry purchase

SLO in Motion Update: Projects and Work Areas
1.North Chorro Neighborhood Greenway
•Finalizing planter box installations
•Installation of the decorative fence at the Chorro Underpass is expected to begin later this week

Parks and Recreation – Senior Programs
Around the Town:
•July 10 toured the Cal Poly Arboretum
•August 7: City Wastewater Plant
•September: SLOMA Docent Tour
SLO Hikers:
•Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday
of each month for local hikes
Senior Center Event:
•August 1st 4:00 – 5:00pm
•Hosting free Wind Orchestra Concert
