The City of San Luis Obispo (“City”) received your request pursuant to the California Public Records Act
delivered via email on June 26, 2024.
No responsive records found.
Please note the following from staff – Pursuant to Government Code section 7923.600, “Records of complaints
to, or investigations conducted by…any state or local agency....” are exempt from disclosure. See also Haynie
v Superior Court (2001) 26 C. 4th 1063. Body worn camera and in car video are considered a record of the
investigation conducted by our department and are therefore exempt from disclosure.
However, you may be entitled to the body cam and I car video via informal discovery. Instructions can be found
