Documents responsive to your recent Public Records Act (“PRA”) Request to the City of San Luis Obispo
(“City”) are hereby produced. This production was reviewed by Eric Wooten, Paralegal, and Sadie Symens,
Deputy City Attorney.
The City has a public portal which contains both completed and in-process PRA requests, with the exception of
requests and records that contain confidential information not publicly disclosable (e.g., medical records and
copyrighted records which have been produced directly to the requester pursuant to lawful authorization

The City has a policy of redacting phone numbers, addresses and email addresses of requesters pursuant to
Government Code § 7922.000, as the public interest in nondisclosure of this personal contact information
clearly outweighs the public interest in disclosure. This policy is intended to encourage access to public
records by eliminating the concern over having one’s personal contact information published to the City’s
public portal.
However, if requested, we can provide you with an unredacted version of our internal tracking spreadsheet
with this information, on the condition that you will not reproduce, transmit, or publish the requester’s personal
contact information, or use the information for any purpose other than, and only to the extent necessary, to
document the nature and extent of PRA requests to the City of San Luis Obispo, as stated in your request.
Please be advised that every effort has been made to search for all records which may fall within the scope of
your records request, and, as such, we believe our search is quite thorough. However, if you have knowledge
of a specific document which has not been provided in response to your request, please notify us, and we will
be happy to provide the document(s) to you unless, of course, it is exempt from disclosure pursuant to
California Government Code §7921.000 et seq.
