Special Meeting of the Personnel Board
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Personnel Board was called to order on Monday,
October 30, 2023, at 4:32 p.m. by Chair Stevens.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chair Calvin Stevens, Vice Chair Jill LeMieux, Board Member Linda Mielke
Absent: Board Members Patricia Ponce and Sharon Seitz
Recording Secretary: Diana Federico, Human Resources Analyst
Board Legal Advisor: Robert Schultz, Attorney at Law
PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
None
CLOSED SESSION
1. Public Employee Grievance (Gov. Code § 54957): a Personnel Board Hearing on an appeal
of a grievance alleging violations of the employment collective bargaining agreement and
to hear complaints or charges set forth in the grievance against employees.
ACTION: Board Legal Advisor Robert Schultz indicated the Personnel Board to proceed
with a hearing after review of a grievance appeal. The Personnel Board unanimously voted
to proceed with a hearing.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 5:08 p.m.
