Palm Parking Garage Maintenance Update
Temporary Closures to Palm Street Garages:
842 Palm Street closed Monday, August 26th at 11:00 p.m.
and will reopen Wednesday, August 28th at 6:30 a.m.
919 Palm Street closed from Wednesday, August 28th at
7:00 a.m. and will reopen Thursday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m.
To avoid impacts to parking at the Palm Garages:
Ride the bus (SLO Transit)
Ride your bike
Walk
Carpool
Park at 871 Marsh Street Parking Garage

Central Coast Community Energy –
Governance Update
Recent and upcoming meetings:
•August 14, 2024 – 3CE Operations Board Meeting approves motion recommending that the
3CE Policy and Operations Board each be reduced from 19 member agencies to 11 member
agencies, with additional changes to the geographic representation of the Boards.
•August 21, 2024 – City of San Luis Obispo Special City Council meeting to evaluate the
Operations Board recommendation, review alternatives, and develop a consensus
recommendation for the City’s Policy Board recommendation.
•August 26, 2024 (or thereabout) – 3CE Policy Board Special Meeting to consider the
approved Operations Board motion, discuss alternative governance approaches, and provide
feedback to 3CE staff on next steps.
•September 19, 2024 – 3CE Policy Board Annual Meeting – soonest meeting at which the
Policy Board could potentially approve the updated governance approach.

•Utilizing graphic wrap process to provide more inclusive opportunities for artists

•04:37 SLOFD responded to a vegetation fire on Bishop Street
•Performed structure protection and declared a second alarm
•Additional resources requested
•SLOPD evacuated 80 homes
