Dear Human Relations Commission (HRC) Advisory Body, Hospice SLO County would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past support and for this current consideration for funding of our Caregiver Support and Grief Counseling programs. We know there are many worthwhile charitable organizations serving the City of SLO and we are honored to be considered for the DEI High Impact Grant funding, which is meant to enhance the sense of belonging for all people in our community. As a non-medical volunteer hospice and community grief center, Hospice SLO County provides free of charge services to those grieving or coping with life-limiting illness. We depend 100% on community donations, fundraising, grants, and the time and talent of a small sta? and over 120 active volunteers. We are so grateful to the City of SLO for your ongoing support and collaboration.
