QUITCLAIM DEED AND EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC HIGHWAY PURPOSES 478
THIS INDENTURE, made this / day of 1963, by and between
the County of San Luis Obispo, a political subdivision and one of the counties of the State of
California, hereinafter termed County, and the City of San Luis Obispo, a political corporation
and one of the cities located in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, hereinafter
termed City;
WITNESSETH:
That County for a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does
hereby quitclaim unto City all its right, title and interest in and to that certain real property
situated in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and more particularly described
on the attached sheet marked Exhibit A, together with the right of way and incidents thereto for
a public highway across the real property described in Exhibit B, which said exhibits are hereby
expressly referred to and incorporated herein as though here fully set forth; provided that County
shall in no wise be responsible or liable for assessments levied to pay the cost of Improvements
made or to be made to the property interests hereby conveyed, or with respect to said property
Interests.
iN WITNESS WHEREOF, the County of San Luis Obispo has caused Its corporate name
to be hereunder subscribed by its officer, thereunto duly authorized by resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and the seal of said Board
of Supervisors to be hereunto affixed on the day and year first above written.

The following resolution to hereby offered and read
WHEREAS, a resolution of Intention to quitclaim County property and convey easement
for public highway purposes to the City of San Luis Obispo was duty adopted by the Board of
SupeMsors of the Coady of San Lois Obispo, State of California, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution,, notice of said Intention was duly given, and
this date was set as the date for the authorization of said conveyance, and
WHEREAS, them Is no apposition. to said conveyance, ad
WHEREAS,# the hereinafter described real property is not and will not to the future be
required for County uses and
and
WHEREAS, this teiblution is adopted by a four4iihs vote of said Board of Supervisors,
WHEREAS,, said conveyance Is authorised by the laws of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, It is in the public Interest that the County of San Luis Obispo qul tclalm to
