Please keep the Broad Street Area Plan as a Tier 1 project for the City and keep the Broad Street Project one of the major goals for the 2025-2027 Budget. Please implement the “Quick Builds” into the 2025-2027 Budget as well. Traffic, cycling and pedestrian safety is important for all of our citizens and the current speed limits and street configuration are not working with the increase in traffic on Broad Street between South Street and Orcutt Road. With the dramatic addition of new housing developments, the area has changed significantly over the past ten years from an industrial area to a densely populated suburban living space. More consideration to pedestrian and cyclist safety needs to taken immediately. It’s a very dangerous area to walk and cycle with the currents speed limit, unprotected bike lanes and lack of traffic signals and crosswalks. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, The Brown Family 286 Lawrence Drive 1
