Vision Zero Action Plan
•21 people have been killed on SLO’s streets since 2019 (compare to 3 homicides in this period)
•3 out of 4 fatal & severe injury collisions occur on just 10% of SLO’s streets
•3 out of 4 fatal collisions involve a person walking or bicycling
•Unhoused persons 20x more likely to be killed in traffic than other community members
