Dear Members,
It is wonderful to see our city roads being improved. The recent update of Tank Farm between Righetti
Ranch Road and Orcutt Road is a great example. However, I have two important questions for you to
consider and please reply to.
1. Why was the current proposed improvement on Tank Farm Road not included when a section of it was
redone and completed about 2 years ago? Isn't it a waste of funds to redo something new just because it
wasn't thought of earlier?
2. Many roads, especially Johnson Road, has been repaved several times in the last few years but within
a year it begins to crack again. Why is the repaving not done in a more durable way so it lasts for 10 years
or so? We don't have snow or heavy rains here so weathering is not really an issue. Repaving roads
superficially over and over again is a real waste of precious tax payers money.
I look forward to your response,
Sincerely,
Chandrika Jaggia
