Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. I understand there is a proposal to reduce the number of lanes on Tank Farm Road as part of the paving. Although I fully support paving the road with dilapidated paving currently, reducing the number of lanes would be an inconvenience to those of us who commute on Tank Farm Road. The area under consideration, from Broad Street to the railroad track, is heavily traveled by consumers and commuters, and the intersection and surrounding area are quite busy. The access to Ralphs shopping center is already quite tricky at times and reducing the lanes would be a safety hazard and irresponsible in my view. I have owned a home in SLO for over 40 years and am very concerned that roads are currently not widened to accommodate bikes and in fact they are narrowed. Several new developments have been built in the south side of SLO over the past 30 years without hardly any arterial roads being revamped or expanded to handle the increased traffic. I am available to speak in person or by phone. My mobile number is 949-246-1299. My current address in Paul Sanford 1501 Osos St. SLO, CA 93401 I appreciate your consideration on this issue. 1
