Dear Chair Cooley and Commissioners Flores, Houghton, Jorgensen, Kahn, Munoz-Morris & Tolle:
RE: Site visits Waterman Village, 466 Dana St., at PC 12/11/24
On behalf of our project team at Smart Share Housing Solutions, we look forward to bringing the
Waterman Village before you next week. I would like to extend an invite for each of you to join us for site
visits prior to the hearing on the 11th.
In addition to general site characteristics, we believe you will find value in seeing inside:
The historic Rosa Butron de Canet Adobe, to understand proposed rehab & rear demolition
Smart Share's demo cottage, now adjacent to the adobe, which represents similar interior home
layout and height of Waterman Village homes proposed, giving some sense of livable, pleasing
interior space and also scale in proximity to the historic structure. (The demo cottage is not
representative of the exterior style of permanent home in the proposed project.)
Time available for tours: Friday afternoon from 2-5, Saturday morning from 9-11 and Monday lunchtime
from 11-1. Hope we may be able to schedule a time that may work for you.

Yes, confirming understanding of Brown Act limitations, we will not schedule more than 2
commissioners for tours at the same time.
