Waterman Village is a wonderful project.
-We need affordable housing in San Luis Obispo. This development by a non-profit is a creative use of
an empty, boarded-up property and saves an historic adobe, as well as providing accessible, low cost housing.
-Centrally located with services near by, it provides an option for car-free living.
-The small scale individual units built on foundations create a density similar to the surrounding
neighborhood, leaving established trees and creating community open space.
-Energy efficient
-Encourages community and allows for individuals to have personal space
-With onsite management, residents will be screened and background checked like most renters.
This innovative project certainly deserves your support. It is just the kind of development we want in San Luis
Obispo.
