Dear SLO City Council,
No. Please do not proceed with rezoning the commercial area to residential apartments in the San Luis Ranch
development.
My SLR home was purchased 2 years ago with the CCB builders’ marketing that the corner lot of Dalidio and
Froom Ranch Way would be the “SLR Shopping Center,” not high density apartments with limited parking. SLR
owners agreed to pay a high Special Assessment tax, under the impression that the development would
proceed as approved. I realize that the builders already got city approval to build 77 affordable housing units,
not in the previously approved Harvest area, but in the “SLR Shopping Center” lot. Proceed with that, mixed in
the commercial properties.
