DEED OF EASEMENT
I. L. HOOVER, as Grantor, hereby grants to the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a
municipal corporation, as Grantee, the right -of -way and easement to construct,
maintain, repair, and replace a drainage structure and fill slope in and across
the real property in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 28 of the California Park Subdivision in the City of
San Luis Obispo, according to a map recorded December 2, 1919, in Book 2,
at Page 36 of Maps, described as follows:
Beginning at the section corner of Section 22,23 and Section 27,26, thence
N 89° 45' E along the property line of Foothill Boulevard, a distance of
69.46 feet; thence N 74° 04' E, a distance of 151.22 feet; thence N 07° 28' E,
a distance of 8.71 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing
N 07° 28' E. a distance of 67.00 feet; thence S 52° 28' W, a distance of
163.37 feet to the new property line of Foothill Boulevard; thence along a
curve with a tangent which bears N 78° 26' 52" E with a radius of 462 feet
through an angle of 4° 22' 52" for a length of 35.33 feet; thence N 74° 04' E,
a distance of 89.99 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Grantor has hereunto caused her name to be subscribed

the Deed of Easement dated March 9 ' 19 64
from I. L. Hoover
to the City of San Luis Obispo, a Political Corporation, is hereby
accepted in accordance With Resolution No. 549 (1959 Series), re-
corded May 26, 1959, in Volume 1002, Official Records, Page 292,
San Luis Obispo County, California, and the grantee consents to
recordation thereof.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, executed thisW/Ziday of , 19(D', by and
between I. L. HOOVER, hereinafter called Grantor, and the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO,
a municipal corporation, hereinafter called City, witnesseth:
1. Grantor shall convey .041 acres, more or less, lying along Foothill
Boulevard to the City of San Luis Obispo, together with a slope and drainage
easement.
2. Grantor agrees to pay for the construction of curb, gutter, and sidewalk
across the westerly 100 feet of frontage, and the City agrees to pay for the
construction of curb, gutter, and sidewalk across the easterly 121 feet of
frontage.
3. Parties agree that the value of the property being conveyed to the City
is $850.00.
4. City to pay Grantor $850.00 for the property plus $80.00 for two
trees that will not be replaced less $600.00 for her share of curb, gutter,
and sidewalk to be constructed by the City, leaving a net amount of $330.00
to be paid by the City to the Grantor upon execution of this agreement.
5. City will provide all necessary engineering, legal work, street paving,
relocation of utilities, if necessary, and replacement of one tree with a
15- gallon size.

Re: Agreement with I. L. Hoover
Dear Sir:
Please find enclosed three copies of the Hoover
agreement, which she has signed. The original
copy was inadvertently not signed, and it will
be mailed to you directly by Mrs. Hoover.
It is understood in this agreement that there
will be no expense of any kind to Mrs. Hoover
for this work, which includes the paving of
the additional street, as well as the curb,
gutter and sidewalk, and that she will receive
a net amount of $330. It must also be under-
stood that if, as the result of the construction
work, any of the trees are damaged or destroyed,
the City will be responsibly for this damavp
or destruction.

OBISPO, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called City, witnesseth:

trees that will not be replaced, leaving a net amount of $120.00 to be paid by
the Grantor to the City upon execution of this agreement.
5. City will provide all necessary engineering, legal work, relocation of
utilities, and replacement of one tree with a 15- gallon size.
