Dear Seth, Purpose This letter should serve to confirm my recent phone discussion with you on the above date. The purpose was to review the results of the industrial hygiene survey that was conducted on November 7th, 2024. The objective of the survey was to determine employee exposures of airborne concentration levels of dust during mixing, cleaning, and packing operations at the 3650 Sacramento Drive, San Luis Obispo location. Summary We discussed the airborne exposure levels and limits of total dust, respirable dust, and silica during mixing, cleaning, and packing operations of all rooms monitored. There were 8 employees monitored in 6 separate rooms. The report results will help determine existing exposures and assure that there are adequate controls to reduce the measured contaminant or dust. Conclusions Samples taken during the survey were considered representative of the worker's exposure to the specific dust contaminant measured on the day of the sampling. As mentioned, all survey results were under the recommended exposure limits for respirable dust, total dust and silica based on the 8-hour time weighted average. These results verifies that adequate controls are in place with no further recommendations at this time. I included the lab analysis results in the attached table and letter. An industrial hygiene survey report will be generated to summarize the entire process and will be forthcoming.
