No fire, light residual smoke throughout the structure mainly on division 2 floor. Tenants stated they were cooking french fry's using a grease fryer and were next door visiting family, when they heard smoke detectors. Tenants returned to involved unit to witness two activated sprinkler heads w/ no fire. Grease fire burned vertical which caused damage to microwave and upper cabinets. Sprinkler in kitchen and living room were activated. E3 crew, along with T1 crew located and shut down sprinkler system and drain. E3 crew also isolated and shut down appropriate electrical breakers at panel. Light ventilation was performed to clear upstairs. Vertical ceiling drywall above stove was opened and checked for extension which was all clear. Crews removed all 2" of water located in the down stairs area (wood/tile floors.) Tenants were renting the unit for the holidays via Airbnb. Tenants tried to contact home owner numerous times while E3 was at scene with no luck. Structure was turned over to tenants with no further hazards.
