I’m writing to ask for your support of the La Loma Adobe in the 2025-27 City Budget. The adobe is one of the
few remaining historic sites that provide not only cultural context, but a wonderful educational opportunity for
the community and visitors. Its beautiful setting is also a home for wildlife and native plants, as well as a much-
needed oasis for the neighborhood and visitors. Many volunteers have donated countless hours to stabilize the
building and care for the garden.
I hope you will include La Loma in the upcoming budget. It is a truly worthwhile project and one that reflects
well on the city’s commitment to the importance of historic preservation.
