GRANT DEED
SETH G. K *4NEY and THEO I. KINNEY, husband and wife

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
do hereby grant to the C1TY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, rights of
ingress thereto, and egress therefrom, together with perpetual easements to construct,
i
maintain, operate, patrol, reconstruct, repair, remove, replace, increase and/or
change the munber'and/or size of pipes, pipelines, hydrants, accessories and
appurtenances for the conveyance and distribution of water under, along, and upon
parcels of land twenty -five (25) feet wide, situate in Section 36, Township 36 South.,
Range 12 East, MDM, City of San Luis Obispo, State of California., more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL 1.
A twenty -five foot strip of land lying Southeasterly of and measured at right angles to
the line described subsequent to the true point of beginning.
Commencing at a 2" x 2" stake at the intersection of the Northeasterly line of Johnson
Avenue and the Northwesterly line of Bishop Street, as the same is shown on a Licensed
Surveyor's Map entitled, "Map of the Goldtree Vineyard Tract, " filed September 30,
1893 in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, thence South 360 25' East
229.72 feet along the Northeasterly line of Johnson Street to a point; thence North 5313
35' East to the true point of beginning of this description, said true point of beginning
being the intersection of the last named course with the Northeasterly line of Flora
Street; . thence North 530 35' East to a 2" iron pipe which lies 969.60 feet more or less
from the Northeasterly line of Johnson Street; thence North 37° 33' East 461.26 feet,
being the end of the herein described line.
PARCEL 2.
A twenty -five foot strip of land, the centerline of which is described subsequent to the
true point of beginning, as follows:
Commencing at Stake S2 on the Westerly line of Bishop Street as the same is shown on
a: Licensed Surveyor's Map entitled, "Map of Goldtree Vineyard Tract, " filed for
record September 30, 1893 and running thence: North 37° 33' East along said Westerly
line 165.42 feet to a point; thence South 520 27' East 25 feet to a point; thence South
370 33' West to the intersection of the centerline of Laurel Street, said point of -inter-
section being the true point of beginning; thence Southeasterly along said centerline of
Laurel Street 100 feet, being the end of the herein described line.
It is a condition of this Deed that the City of San Luis Obispo does hereby quit-
claim unto Grantors all its right, title and interest in and to all that part of an easement
situate Northeasterly of the end of the line described herein for Parcel 1 and recorded a
in Volume 589 at Page 487, Official. Records of the County of San Luis Obispo. rP

It is a further condition of this Deed that the City of San Luis Obispo, upon the
request of Grantors, will issue a permit for the installation of one (1) water meter and

the purchase of water through said meter by Grantors, from the water conveyance
facilities to be installed by said City along said easement, to a location on the
Property of the Grantors from which said easement has been created.
It. is a further. condition of this Deed that the City of San Luis Obispo will pave
a twelve (12) foot strip approximately 500 feet in length, with plant -mix surfacing
from the City's existing water tank to the present location of the Casa Loma Sani-
tarium.

to the City of San Luis Obispo, a Political Corporation, is hereby
accepted in accordance with Resolution No, 549 (1959 Series), recorded
May 26, 1959, in Volume 1002, Official Records, Page 292, San Luis Obispo
County, California, and the grantee consents to recordation thereof.
