into, effective as of February \q , 2023 (the"Effective Ddte"),by Tne Crry onSlN Lurs Ousno,
C.qLtroRNIA, a municipal corporation and chafter city (the "City"), with reference to the following
facts:

A. The prior ownetst'of the real property located at 1123 - 1127 Garclen Street, San
Lr-ris Obispo, California and described on the attached Exhibit A (the"Property") entered into that
certain Seismic Retrofit Agreement dated as of June22,2010 and recorded as Document no.
20 1 003 000 I on June 29 , 2010 in the Official Records of San Luis Obispo County, California (the
"Agreemenl"),forthebenefitoftheCity. "k3f,:f;? Lake parrners, LLC and varle visra
B. Since the Agreement was recorded, the Property has been redeveloped as a hotel.
C. As a result of the redevelopment of the Property, the Agreement is no longer
needed.
D, City is executing this Release in order to terminate and release the Agreement of
record
NOW' THBREFORE, for good and valuable consideration inclr"rding the redevelopment
of the Property, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the City hereby
terminates and releases the Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned have signed this Release effective on the
date first set forth above.
