Subject:Urgent - Righetti Ranch Park Construction Prioritization at 2/8 Goal-Setting Workshop
This message is from an External Source. Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond.
Dear City Council Members,
The Righetti Ranch Homeowners Association respectfully requests that priority be given to the long-
overdue Righetti Park construction in the upcoming goal-setting workshop.
For over five years, our community has watched this project face repeated delays. Many families
specifically chose to purchase homes here—often investing close to or over a million dollars—based in
no small part on the promise of a neighborhood park. Initially, the developer committed to delivering this
amenity within a short timeframe, but once responsibility shifted to the city, the timeline was pushed
back significantly. Now, with nearly 400 completed homes in Righetti Ranch—along with additional
residents in the Morros, Iron & Oak, and Vinifera developments—our community has grown
substantially, generating significant new revenue for the city.
We understand the challenges of budgeting and prioritization, but this project can no longer be
deprioritized. Our families have waited long enough. We urge the Council to take decisive action to
ensure Righetti Park moves forward without further delay so that the families who were promised this
space can actually use it.
We appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to your support in making this long-
promised community asset a reality.
Sincerely,
Richard Pace
President, Righetti Ranch Homeowners Association
