FRANCIS R. SCOTT and ISABEL A. SCOTT, as Grantors, hereby grant to the
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, as Grantee, all of their
right, title, and interest in the following described property in the City
of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, to wit:
Beginning at the Westerly corner of Lot 17, Block 4 of the
Goldtree Vineyard Tract in Section 36, Township 30 South, Range
12 East, M.D.M. as shown on a map filed in the County Recorder's
Office, San Luis Obispo County, State of California and filed
in said office September 30, 1893; thence S 36° 25' E a distance of
143.53 feet to a point; thence on a curve to the left tangent to the
last described line, with a radius of 770 feet, through an angle of
10° 06' 31" for a length of 135.85 feet to a point on the Southeasterly
line of said tract; thence N 26° 30' E along said tract line a distance
of 14.74 feet to a point; thence on a curve concave Northeast with a
radius of 762 through an angle of 08° 51'05" for a length of 117.72
feet to a point; thence tangent to last described curve N 360 25' W
a distance of 154.60 feet to a point on the Northwesterly line of Lot 17;
thence S 54° 00' W along the Northwesterly line of Lot 17 a distance
of 16.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing .099 acres, more or less.

Records, Page 292, San Luis Obispo County, California, and the
Grantee consents to recordation thereof by its duly authorized
officer or his agent.

THIS AGREEMENT, executed this dap o
by and between FRANCIS R. SCOTT and ISABEL A.
1967,
Grantors, and the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, herein-
after called City, witnesseth:
1. Grantors shall convey to the City .099 acres, more or less, lying
along Johnson Avenue.
2. City agrees to construct sidewalk, curb and gutter across the entire
frontage of the property being conveyed to the City, when construction
money is made available.
3. City agrees to pay Grantors $2572.20 for the land conveyed to the
City plus $121.75 for the loss of trees and shrubs plus $200.00
for the loss of the second driveway, less $1738.00 it would have
cost to construct the sidewalk, curb and gutter at the old curb
line, leaving $1,155.95 to be paid by the City to the Grantors
upon execution of this agreement.
4. City agrees to provide all necessary engineering, legal work,
relocate utilities as necessary, slope the bank behind the sidewalk
and along the driveway, revise the driveway in kind to grade,
replace the concrete curbs along the driveway and pave out the
street to the new gutter.
5. In the event the property is subsequently subdivided into four or
more lots within any one year period, the subdivider will be
required to reimburse the City for the cost of the land acquired
by the City for street widening. ($2572.20)
