A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET
II�PROVEITENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
No. 214 (New Series), DETEMYTINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID
ASSESSILNTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS
A AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE.
AREAS, the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo did,
on the 31st.. day of January, 1.92.7, pass and adopt its Resolution of
Intention No.. 214 (New Series) relating to certain work to be.done
in said City as therein described, under and pursuant to the provisiors
of the °Improvement Act of 19116„ as amended, and did by said resolu-
tion of Intention provide that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess-
ments, and bear interest at the rate of six per cent (6 %) per annum,
will be issued thereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement'
Bond Act of 19150, the last installment of which bonds shall mature
nine (9) years from the second day of'July next succeeding ten (1.0)
months from their date,, reference to said Resolution of Intention
being hereby expressly made for further particulars;. and
WHEREAS, the contract for said work and improvement was duly
awarded and thereafter completed to the satisfaction of the Super-
intendent of Streets of said City and this Council, whereupon in due
course an assessment, diagram and warrant were made, recorded and
delivered to the contractor in time, form and manner as required by
lase, and the contractor or his assigns having made due return thereon
and the same having been duly filed; and
WHEREAS, on the 15th.. day of November, 1927, the Street
Superintendent of said City made and f -iled with the Clerk of this
Council a complete list of all-assessments unpaid thereunder upon the
respective assessment or diagram numbers thereon, whereupon said
Clerk gave notice of the filing of said list, and fixed in said notice
Monday the 28th. day of November, 1927,. at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
P. M. of said day,. at the regular meeting place of said City Council as
time, when interested-persons might. appear before the said CityCouncil
and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the
unpaid assessments shown on said list as appears from affidavits on file
in the ofkice of said Clerk, which said he was duly and regularly
continued to the 5th.. day of December, 1927, at 7 :30 o'clock P. M.; and
said City Council having-heard all objections against the issuance of
bonds as aforesaid, presented 'before or at. the time set for said hearing
or at the- time to which said hearing was continued and said City. Council
hereby passing

aggregating the total sum of $ 163.490.60, leaving a balance. due on
account of said unpaid assessments of $ 37,068.55; and said list of
assessments unpaid filed by said Street Superintendent, as aforesaid,
appearing in all respects comple.te.and correct after excepting atd-
deducting: therefro¢n the assessments paid since the filing thereof', as
hereinabove sat farth.

NOW THEBEFORE,. it is hereby resolved and found and determined
by said City Council, that said list of assessments unpaid filed
by said Street Superintendent as aforesaid was: at the time of said
filing thereof in all respects complete. and correct,. and that since
the filing thereof, assessments have been paid aggregating the sum
of $ 16,490.60, as hEme. inbef ore set f orth, 'and that there now remains
unpaid the sum of Thirty Seven Thousand Sixty Eight Dollars and
Fifty Five. Cents ($37,068.55).
AND BE IY.RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: That serial bonds shall be
issued upon the security of the said unpaid assessments to the said
amount of Thirty Seven Thousand Sixty Fight Dollars and Fifty Five
Cents ($37,.068.55). Said bonds shall be One Hundred Ten
( 110 j in. number, known as Series "F ", and shall.be dated
the day of December., 1927, and bear interest at the rate
of six per cent (6%) per annum, and the denominations of the said
bonds and the dates of the respedtive maturities thereof, shall be-as.
follows.:.

PARTS OF S=TS TO Eff, AND CONSTITUTE BO=ARDS.
WEERSAS's under and pursuant to the provisions of
Section 24 of Ordinance No., 122 (New Series) of the- City of San
Luis Obispo, . entitled, "An Ordinance Regul-ating Traffic Upon and
the Parking of Vehicles on the Public Streets Of the City of San
Luis Obispo", as amended by Ordinance No. 124 (New Series)
entitled., "An Ordinance Amending Section 24 of Ordinance: No, 122
(Nevi Series)", the. City Council of the: City of San Luis Obispo is
authorized to declare any street or portion of any street within -
the City of San Luis Obispo to be and constitute a boulevard,

the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo its written offer
for $ 25,000.00 City of San Luis Obispo Municipal bonds, which
bonds are known as the '"",Miller and Lug Laguna Property Bonds" and
which said bonds were voted April 4, 1927; said bonds being twenty
five in number of the denomination of $ 1,000.00 each, dated
october 1, 1927, and bearing interest at 5f% per annum, interest
payable semi - annually.

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ,ASSESSMENT TO BE ISSUED
TO COVER THE SUM DUE. FOR THE WORK PERFORM
PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 241 (New
Series) , AND ORDERING WARRANT-.
VR EREAS certain persons,, interested in that certain work,
or the: assessment therefor, recently done pursuant to the provisions
of the "Improvement Act of 191111, as amended, and also the provisions
of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915,11, as amended, and pursuant to
and as described in Resolution of Intention No. 241 (New_ Series)
passed by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo on the
26th. day of September, 1927, said Resolution of Intention being hereby
expressly referred to for a description of said work, feeling aggrieved
by the acts or determinations of the. Superintendent. of. Streets of said
City in relation to said work, or who claim that the work has not been

shogun in this resolution; otherwise. and as to all.other matters

the. City Clerk of the. City of San Luis: Obispo;
AND BE' 17 FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of San Luis Obispo, that said.ass:essment, as amended and
corrected by this.resolution be., and the same. is. hereby. confirmed
and approved and the.-Superintendent of Streets of said City is
hereby directed to attach to said assessment., as amended, a.
warrant.bearing.the date of this resolution, which said warrant•
shall be signed by the said Supe.rintendent.of Streets and
countersigned by the Mayor of said City.
