1. CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Active Transportation Committee was
called to order on January 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room at
City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, by Member Mills.

3.a CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES - MAY 16, 2024, NOVEMBER 21, 2024,
DECEMBER 12, 2024 COMMITTEE MINUTES
Motion By Member Brooks
Second By Member Amos
To approve the Active Transportation Committee Minutes of May 16, 2024,
November 21, 2024, and December 12, 2024.

4. BUSINESS ITEMS
4.a 600 TANK FARM ROAD PROJECT UPDATE

Second By Member Levin
To accept staff's recommendation to support the two-way shared-use path
on Tank Farm (Santa Fe to Broad) and Santa Fe (Tank Farm to 600 Tank
Farm driveway), with the flexibility to convert to separate one-way bike
lane and sidewalks per the Active Transportation Plan in the future.

To recommend future discussions at a future meeting about the
consideration of two-way shared use paths vs one-way protected bike
lanes.

5.COMMENT AND DISCUSSION
5.a COMMITTEE MEMBER UPDATES
Active Transportation Committee members provided a brief update on
topics including the County portion of the Bob Jones Trail project.
5.b STAFF UPDATES
Active Transportation Manager Adam Fukushima provided updates on the
following topics:
1.Community Budget Forum, January 23;
2.Community Open House for the Upper Monterey Area Focus Area
Plan on January 30; and,
3.Higuera Complete Streets Study Session at City Council on
February 4.
5.c FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Active Transportation Manager Adam Fukushima provided the following
agenda forecast:

The meeting was adjourned at 8:07 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of the Active
Transportation Committee is scheduled for March 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the
Council Hearing Room at City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
