Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. Hi City Council I am writing today in strong opposition to any changes to Tank Farm Road between Broad Street and Orcutt. I have heard that some people want to limit the 2 lanes in each direction to one lane. This is preposterous. I realize that this is to move SLO to be more bike friendly....your goal being 20%. I am guessing that right now it is at less than 10%. I live in the Islay Hill area and do not see a lot of bikes using Tank Farm. Did you do a study to see what the bike use is on Tank Farm? You shouldn't make a rule or changes based on a minority of people when it is an opposition/traffic hazard to 80%+ people. If anything let the voters vote on this idea in the next election. Moving it to one lane will create more of a problem...imagine anyone trying to turn because traffic is bumper to bumper. This is a terrible idea!
