SLO CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS: For the past 40 years we have made SLO our home, we have watched with increasing discomfort, the “Citification of SLOTown”. Some changes were necessary and some beneficial but we miss seeing the hills when walking downtown, especially now when the briefly green hills are blocked by 4 story buildings. We must have missed the meeting when the height restriction was raised. Also, too many people ,too many cars and too many bike lanes (and hrdly any bikes) For years, one of our main concerns has been the increase in population density without proper attention to necessary infrastructure to accommodate the increased traffic. The traffic increase will have a negative impact on the lives and re-sale value for the residents of Los Verdes Parks 1 and 2 and small SFR tract of Meadow Park. Although Mr. Wade is certainly entitled to a fair return on his investment, we feel the numbers are just too large for the location’s space and urge restrain in approval, as well as requirement for independent traffic analysis reports. Thank you for your attention. Martha Sohacki, 72 Mariposa Drive 1
