Gentlemen:
I am unable to attend the meeting tomorrow regarding the Broadstone Village development and
would like to voice my concern through this email.
I live in the Los Verdes Park II development. Currently it is almost impossible to exit the development
and turn left on to LOVR. With the addition of 409 units in this vicinity, it will most certainly be
impossible and more risky than it already is. The construction of a new road from LOVR to S.
Higuera/Buckley will alleviate only a portion of the traffic and will not solve the congestion we already
experience. I am not opposed to the property being developed for residential units (although I will
miss the open space we currently enjoy) but the proposed number of units is unacceptable. Aside
from the obvious concerns of adding 409 more units (congestion, noise, pollution, infrastructure,
schools and services) my main concern is the increase in traffic.
