Brown Act (Government Code § 54950 et seq.), commissioners and members of the public may participate in this regular meeting by teleconference. Staff Updates Assistant Planner Owen Goode informed that the Grants- in Aid Application period has begun and is assessable on the City’s website in a fillable PDF. The application can be found on the City’s website at https://www.slocity.org/how-do-i/apply-for/hrc-grants-in-aid. The Grants-in- Aid Application Period will close on January 19, 2021. Commissioner Updates Chair Colyer-Worth reported that the city has narrowed down Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Manager candidates and will hold the next interview round on December 16, 2021. Chair Colyer-Worth also announced that the SLO Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the SLO Sheriff’s Department Unity Committee, the Diversity Coalition, and Race Matters SLO, will hold an event titled, “Advancing Diversity & Inclusion” on Thursday, December 9, 2021, 4:00-6:00 p.m., Cuesta Collage – Room 5401. ADJOURNMENT Chair Colyer-Worth adjourned the meeting at 5:49 p.m. The next Regular Human Relations Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., via teleconference.
