I have noted you as an interested party and will keep you informed of any public hearings or public review
drafts of documents associated with the Laurel Garden project. If you would also like to receive mail
notification for the hearings, please let me know your mailing address and I can coordinate for you to receive
a postcard when the time comes.
The application is currently in completeness review with multiple City departments and divisions, including the
Fire Department and Transportation Division, for consistency with City policies and regulations. Aspects
related to access, traffic, safety, environmental impacts, etc. would be assessed. This initial step of the
entitlement review (prior to the public hearings) does take time to work through design reviews, potential
revisions, etc., so please feel free to reach out to me for periodic updates on current status.
Regarding the trees along Laurel Lane, approximately 20 trees would require removal for undergrounding of
utilities to serve the Laurel Creek building. The developer will be compiling an application and coordinating
with the City Arborist for this request.
