Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. Hello, I might be too late to submit a comment in favor of my support for the traffic safety project on Tank Farm between Poinsettia and Righetti but I figured I would try. I live on Sunrose Court and my parents live on Spanish Oaks Drive. I drive to their house very often, especially after work. It is extremely difficult and dangerous to make a left turn onto Tank Farm Road from Sunrose Court due to how fast cars travel after coming through the roundabout and onto the blind curve. I often have to wait up to five minutes for a safe gap, and it always feels risky. Even when I am coming home and having to make a right turn onto Sunrose Court I am always having to be extremely cautious as cars speed so much on that road and I always worry they aren't paying attention when I am turning. I am also a runner and never feel safe crossing the street to get over to French Park and that area. If I ever need to get over to that side, I use the railroad tracks which as a young woman never makes me feel safe, but I would rather go that way then attempt to cross the street! As proposed, I would like to see and am in favor of:  a crosswalk with RRFP, and  a flashing speed limit. I am also cautiously in favor of reducing the roadway from four lanes to two. My main concern is making a right turn into Sunrose Court—if the road is narrowed I would not feel safe making a right turn with speeding cars behind me and only only one lane , I would strongly urge the inclusion of a designated right-turn pocket to maintain safety. Thank you for considering my comments. As someone who has lived on this side of town my entire life, this section of Tank Farm is a vital daily route for many residents, and improvements are very much needed now that there is increased developments in this area. Thank you, Jordyn Bauer 1
