Throughout my years I have seen numerous (too many to count) times where someone in the crosswalk is almost hit by a car speeding east or west on Tank Farm Road. The addition of the yellow flashing lights is helpful; however, I continue to see near misses all the time because people are driving too fast and do not see someone in the crosswalk until the last minute. I do think heading east on Tank Farm that the trees need to be trimmed better, sometimes it is hard to see the flashing lights because of the overgrowth of the trees, they are slightly blocking the flashing lights. It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed walking through this intersection. It can also be unnerving as a driver trying to pull out and head west/left onto Tank Farm Road. I wait until there are no cars and then pull out to turn left and as I am still making my turn onto Tank Farm; I have a car barreling towards me coming from the railroad underpass at 45-50 mph. I think the safest option for our area is Alternative 1 (Vehicle Lane Reduction). This will slow drivers down. Thank you, Jennifer Hilty 4631 Poinsettia Street 1
