Subject:Recommendations for the road diet proposal on Tank Farm Road
Hon. Mayor and Hon. City Council Members:
Here are my recommendations for the road diet proposal on Tank Farm Road (east of Broad). The intersection at Tank
Farm Rd and Poinsettia needs a speed bump to protect residents and visitors. Ideally, a stop sign would be good too. At
any rate, the pedestrian crossing lights should obviously be enhanced (difficult for some drivers to see in strong sun).
Traffic largely ignores speed limit signs. Other communities have solved their "speeding cars" problem with a speed
bump. Perhaps it will work here too.
