Home My WebLink About5/7/2025 Item 4a, Davis Erin Davis < To:Advisory Bodies Subject:SLO Pickleball - item number 4a Dear Advisory Body, I am unable to attend the upcoming PRC meeting on May 7 in person, but wanted to log the following: I would like to encourage the advisory body to include the pickleball courts in Phase 1 to support active living, social connection, and intergenerational recreation.  Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. and has a strong, inclusive community in SLO.  Existing court space is limited and overcrowded in SLO; demand far exceeds availability.  The courts will serve a wide range of players — from youth to seniors — and help meet the City's recreation goals.
