Subject:meeting date May 20, Agenda Item Number 6e -Pickleball courts in Righetti Park
Dear City Council members,
I am writing to support the project of new pickleball courts in Righetti Community Park which will be
discussed on May 20, 2025 Agenda number 6e. I started playing pickleball about 6 months ago, and I absolutely
love it, I tried to play at least three times a week, wish I could play every day. I am grateful that we have
accessible pickleball ball courts in French Park, Meadow Park (shared with basketball). However, as the sports
become more popular everyday, the courts sometimes get crowded and we have to wait for a long line to be
able to play. As the population grows and the game is getting more popular, we need more courts. I urge the
Council to vote FOR this project to move forward.
