Dear Members of Sigma Nu Fraternity,
hnpe this letter finds you well. It is with gratitude that i write to express our
Is
sincerest thanks for your generous donation from Ducky Derby 2024 totaling
$24,000. These funds were designated toward our Jack's Assistance Program.
Your kindness and support mean more to us than words can adequately express.
want to update you on where your funds were spent. As you know, Jack's
Helping Hand provides financial assistance to local children struggling with
cancer, special needs, and disabilities in San Luis Obispo County up to the age
of 21. We fulfill requests for assistance with medical equipment, transportation,
food, and lodging for out-of-town appointments and procedures, and help with
medical bills when there are no other sources to cover these needs. Additional
scholarship programs include our Little Swimmers adaptive aquatics program
and Little Riders therapeutic horseback riding program. So far in 2024, we have
received over 800 requests from the over 400 children we serve. With the
uncertainty of the economy, we saw a 20% increase in the number of new
applications and the additional financial assistance for families with children with
special medical needs was appreciated.
Beyond the tangible benefits your donation provides, please know that it sends a
powerful message of compassion to those who are facing some of the toughest
challenges life has to offer. Your belief in our cause and your willingness to invest
in the well-bsming of these children is a source of inspiration to s all, If ycl,..: would
ever like us to speak to you about your impact, please let me know.

To whom it may concern,
I'm writing as a nearby neighbor of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, located at 1304 E Foothill Blvd. I've
lived down the street at 1292 E Foothill Blvd for two years now, and I want to express my
support for the chapter as they address the recent noise complaints they've received.
From my experience, the members of Sigma Nu have been incredibly respectful and courteous
neighbors. They consistently notify us in advance when they plan to host events and are careful
to follow all quiet hours. I can confidently say that their activities have never disrupted our
household or caused any disturbance.
hope this letter helps clarify their efforts to be good neighbors and maintain positive
relationships within the community.

To Whom It May Concern,
We are writing this letter on behalf of our neighbors at 1304 Foothill Blvd to attest to the
respectful and considerate presence they bring to our neighborhood. The members of the Sigma
Nu fraternity who are tenants of said property go above and beyond to communicate with us
when they have upcoming events. On many occasions, they have reached out to us personally to
ensure that we were satisfied with their plans and to address any concerns they may have had in
advance.
Their proactive and transparent communication has allowed us to foster a mutually respectful
relationship. Not only are they conscious neighbors, but also truly kind people. They wave and
smile at each and every one of us when we walk out of our complex, and are always
approachable in the face of any kind of issue. We feel seen, safe, and heard by these individuals
and do not doubt their ability to mitigate conflict maturely and promptly,.
It is clear that the residents of 1304 Foothill Blvd take pride in their ability to be good neighbors,
and we are extremely grateful for their consideration and open communication. We hope that you
are able to recognize their character as we have. Please feel free to contact us at any time for
further testimonials to their character.

To Whom It May Concern,
live directly across the street from the Sigma Nu fraternity house and wanted to take a momen
to share my experience as a neighbor. In the time I've lived here, I have never had any issues
with them. They are consistently respectful and considerate of the neighborhood.
t
They only play music during the day, and it is never disruptive. Whenever they plan to host a
party, they make a point to notify the neighbors in advance, which I greatly appreciate. On those
occasions, they've always kept things under control, and the noise ends promptly when they say
it will.
Overall, Sigma Nu has been a responsible and respectful presence in the neighborhood, and
I've found them to be excellent neighbors.
Sincerely,

unnoticed, and we've always appreciated the way they've kept us in the loop. They have
created a space for neighborhood communication and mutual agreements across not only
Foothill Blvd but also Crandall Way. It's rare to see this level of intentionality in a college
neighborhood, and their efforts have truly made a difference.
In many ways, our two houses have grown close, sharing conversations, checking in on
