CONTRACTOR OR PERMITTEE SHALL ALSO CONTACT THE APPROPRIATE AGENCY FOR THE LOCATION OF CABLE T.V., WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE OR UNDERGROUND FACILITIES. 3.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL POSSESS A CLASS "A" OR "C-8" LICENSE AT THE TIME THE BIDS OPEN AND DURING THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE CONTRACT. 4.THESE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE ALL EXISTING FACILITIES IN THE VICINITY OF THE PROPOSED WORK SUCH AS EXISTING IRRIGATION HEADS AND LINES, SHRUBBERY AND VEGETATION, ETC. THE CONTRACTOR MUST USE CARE TO AVOID DAMAGE TO ANY EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS OR VEGETATION IN THE VICINITY OF THE WORK, AND MUST REPAIR ANY FACILITIES DAMAGE DURING CONSTRUCTION TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER. 5.THESE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE OVERHEAD LINES. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE CARE DURING CONSTRUCTION TO AVOID CONTACT WITH OR DAMAGE TO EXISTING OVERHEAD LINES. 6.ANY EXISTING UTILITIES AND IMPROVEMENTS THAT BECOME DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE COMPLETELY RESTORED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER AT THE CONTRACTOR'S SOLE EXPENSE. 7.CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT ALL UTILITY COMPANIES AND AGENCIES WITH SERVICES IN THE AREA PRIOR TO COMMENCING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND COORDINATE WITH THE UTILITY COMPANIES AFFECTED BY CONSTRUCTION. 8.PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR'S LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR SHALL FILE A CORNER RECORD IN THE OFFICE OF THE SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY SURVEYOR FOR EACH EXISTING MONUMENT WITHIN THE PROJECT AREA THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE DISTURBED. 9.PROTECT SURVEY MONUMENTS IN PLACE DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED OR DISPLACED SURVEY MONUMENTS AND SHALL NOTIFY THE CITY FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO RESTORING MONUMENTS.
