This has been happening since the beginning of 2025 when the HOA wrote new parking rules. On May 13th 2025, John Mezzapesa from the City of SLO wrote me and stated that the City had reviewed this and there was no parking in front of my home 3061 Cortuna Dr. I am asking the City Council to please enforce this code enforcement compliance and ask the HOA to immediately change the parking rules in accordance with the Code Enforcement findings. As a homeowner in San Luis Obispo, I hope the City Council can see that passing this acceptance is directly related to the HOA enforcing all city codes and having the rules of the HOA be legal and abiding to the Tract Map 2428 Phase 3 acceptance. Thank you for your time, Claire Foster 3061 Cortuna Dr 1 On Tue, May 13, 2025 at 11:43 AM Mezzapesa, John <JMezzape@slocity.org> wrote: Hi Claire, I wanted to reach out and provide a quick update regarding your concerns. After some discussion with pertinent City staff, we have determined that the area you reference as being used for parking does not meet the required city standards to allow for parking of vehicles. My next steps are to advise the HOA board members that the updated parking rules are inconsistent with the CCRs, and the conditions placed on the resolution for tentative tract map approval. I am working on getting the pertinent information together to pass to the board and potentially setting up a meeting to discuss this issue and a few others that have recently come up. I hope to have movement on this in the coming weeks. Let me know if you have any questions.
