ABOUT US
WorldWise Productions is a California certified disadvantaged, woman-owned, minority
and small (micro) business enterprise, specializing in video production, still photography,
animation, aerial videography and A to Z production services.
We were founded in 2008 by Jinah Kim, who at the time was a national TV news
correspondent for NBC News. Jinah was a long-time reporter on the Central Coast, and is
familiar with the San Luis Obispo area.
Since our founding, we have produced thousands of beautiful, professional videos and
photos for some of the nation’s largest public agencies, top academic institutions, companies
and non-profit organizations.
Our similar sized clients include the State of California, the entire University of California
system, Los Angeles County and large corporate clients like Adobe.
When working with a large entity like the City of San Luis Obispo – experience is
absolutely key. Because we have that experience, we are able to deftly navigate the scope,
budgets, insurance needs and complexities that come with the territory. And yet – we are
small and nimble enough to give our clients the utmost attention, the best customer service,
reasonable prices and fast turn-around times.
Our specialty is story-telling. A lot of video production professionals will say this. But
what we achieve consistently – with every video, every time – is the ability to move the viewer
through the most compelling, engaging and memorable parts of each story.
4
How do we do this? One – it takes experience. We have told the stories of literally
thousands of organizations and its people in every walk of life, under the most challenging
circumstances, and the connection we are able to achieve with our on-camera subjects allows
them to trust us to tell their story with honesty and grace.
Two – it takes undeniable talent. Our top cinematographers are true artists, who are
able to capture beautiful, simple, poignant visuals, no matter the place and subject. We only
work with editors who’ve demonstrated that innate ability to time, pace and weave the media
in a way that turns pieces of the footage puzzle into a full, satisfying picture. The result: videos
that the viewer remembers long after they’ve been viewed.
Our seasoned team of producers, writers, cinematographers, photographers, animators
and editors provide a full-service experience for all of our clients. From the pre-production
stage - to all aspects of production - and through completion of each video project, we guide
and support our clients every step of the way. We typically respond to emails within minutes,
and are available for phone calls on demand.

FIRM EXPERIENCE
CLIENT: PORT OF LONG BEACH
The Port of Long Beach was unveiling a new bike route to the residents of the city and
beyond and needed a series of videos to promote the route to the general public, but also to
educate bikers, pedestrians, and drivers about how to share the roads safely.
As part of a multi-year contract with The Port of Long Beach, our team developed a
concept to create an engaging series to highlight the new route as well as useful information on
how to enjoy the bike paths safely.
With scripts we wrote expanding upon the client’s key points, we shot over 2 days, from
the ground and also with a drone. Adding custon graphics, we delivered dynamic, memorable
videos to educate the public on how best to safely enjoy the newly opened bike paths.
COMPLETED VIDEO: wwpvideo.com/polb-bike-month
Key Roles:
Jinah Kim – Executive Producer
Jon Meredith – Creative Director
Shalom Nieva – Producer / Writer
Francesco Iscaro – Director of Photography
Dillon Magrann-Wells – Director / Video Graphics

CLIENT: CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS AND CAL OSHA
The California Department of Industrial Relations, in collaboration with CAL/OSHA and
the U.S. Department of Mining, approached WorldWise Productions and asked us to create a
safety video about mobile mining equipment, from scratch.
In order to create the video script, WorldWise was asked to conduct extensive research
into mining equipment safety. We also met multiple times with the client to get a sense of the
content and "feel" that would best speak to the intended audience.
After a couple weeks in the pre-production stage researching, working out logistics,
talent, shot list and equipment needed, we shot ground and aerial footage at a working mine.
Incorporating the dynamic footage, video graphics and motion graphics – we were able to
achieve the exact look, feel, and content the client had envisioned for this safety training video,
that is still used by CAL/OSHA and the U.S. Department of Mining, today.
COMPLETED VIDEO: wwpvideo.com/miningsafety
Key Roles:
Jinah Kim – Executive Producer
Jon Meredith – Creative Director & Director of Photography
Shalom Nieva – Producer / Writer
Dillon Magrann-Wells – Video Graphics / Animation
7
CLIENT: CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
In advance of an approaching fire season, the City of Rolling Hills wanted to create a
series of videos educating the residents of the city about techniques to prevent fires in their
homes and surrounding canyons.
The WorldWise team went to work researching the topic thoroughly, and collaborated
with the client through months of phone conferences and site surveys. Once the idea was set,
WorldWise wrote scripts, coordinated talent, shoot dates and locations, and created shot lists
to cover the content in the video. Our team coached a U.S. Department of Forestry official to
act as on-camera host. We shot ground and aerial b-roll at multiple locations in the city. In the
post-production phase, our team added custom motion graphics to the videos to make it
dynamic, engaging, and easy to understand for the residents of Rolling Hills, and to increase
their chance of avoiding fire-related incidents.
COMPLETED VIDEO: wwpvideo.com/rollinghills
Key Roles:
Jinah Kim – Executive Producer & Writer
Jon Meredith – Creative Director & Director of Photography
Shalom Nieva – Producer / Talent Coach
Dillon Magrann-Wells: Video Graphics / Animation
8
CLIENT: RAND CORPORATION
RAND was launching an ambitious fundraising campaign and needed a very professional,
compelling, engaging video to launch the endeavor.
We worked with the client to create a concept resembling a mini-documentary,
featuring RAND’s most high-profile brain trust, which included Malcolm Gladwell.
We shot over 2 days, and incorporated a lot of high-res file images and footage that
RAND had amassed over the years. Our writer wrote an inspired script focused on RAND’s
history and mission. Using the best sound bites, and aided by poignant music and sharp
editing, we delivered a video worthy of the international audience for whom the final vision
was intended.
COMPLETED VIDEO: wwpvideo.com/rand
Key Roles:
Jinah Kim – Executive Producer
Jon Meredith – Creative Director & Director of Photography
Shalom Nieva – Producer / Writer
Dillon Magrann-Wells – Video Graphics / Animation

CLIENT: LA CARE HEALTH PLAN
Within a span of two months, WorldWise Productions was asked to create concepts for,
and execute two television commercials for our client, LA Care.
Our team immediately got to work synthesizing the client’s vision into creative,
compelling scripts and storyboards. We devised a cohesive plan that required multi-day shoots
spanning several locations across Los Angeles.
From writing the script, scouting locations, acquiring the necessary film permits,
assembling a crew, casting talent, to shooting and editing, our crew handled the project
management for both commercials from start to finish, giving our client peace of mind and
confidence that their spark of an idea would successfully be brought to life. The commercials
continue to air online and on primetime TV, promoting LA Care’s new Medicare / Medical plans
to the residents of Los Angeles.
