Public hearing to consider a Planning Commission recommendation to amend the
Land Use Element Map to remove "Elementary School' CF) designation from the
Public/Semi-Public designation at 1314 Nipomo Street(former Emerson School site);
City of San Luis Obispo, applicant.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution amending the General Plan Land Use
Map to removed-the "E" designation at 1314 Nipomo Street as recommended.
B. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING - GP/R 1502 (15 min.)
Public hearing to consider a Planning Commission recommendation to amend the
Land Use Element Map and Zoning Map to change the designations from
neighborhood-commercial (C-N) to medium-density residential (R-4) for property
at 2011 Chorro Street and 2012 Broad Street.
RECOMMENDATION: 1) Adopt resolution amending the General Plan Map from
neighborhood-commercial to medium-density residential;and 2) introduce ordinance

P.G I-Don Smith stated Nacimiento Reservoir is the City's best source of water and urged
support of this resource. /
DUNN* Staff directed to write a letter to the County urging the Board of Supervisors take action to
safeguard the City's water allocation in reserve. _ y
P.C. 2-Brett Cross, 1217 Mariner's Cover urged the council to pump the water out of Laguna �'l
Lake so that it can be dredged
