Public Art Lecture Series
City’s Public Art Program, in partnership with
SLO County Arts, presents “Meet the Artist”
•Art Lecture on September 17
•Library Community Room: 6:00 – 7:30pm
•Free Event
Emmy Award-winner and local artist,
Robin Smith, who specializes in visual arts.
Learn about her more than 30 years of experience in
producing, directing, editing, and filming.
Robin will also showcase her pen and ink drawings
and prop process for both stage and screen.

2025 Paving Project Update
Construction began August 2025, expected completion December 2025
Completed So Far:
•Striping at Santa Rosa & Mill, Broad, Prado Road, Tank Farm, and Madonna
Currently Working On:
•Curb ramps on Tank Farm between Broad & Wavertree
Future Work:
•Curb ramps along Sacramento: mid-October through early November
•Paving on Tank Farm: mid-October through early December
•Paving on Sacramento: throughout November

Groundwater Cleanup & Well Drilling
Construction began September 2025,
anticipated completion November 2025
Work to Date:
•Pre-construction environmental & cultural surveys, site grading,
and sound wall installation
Upcoming Work (Over the Next 90 Days):
•Well drilling, well casing installation, well development & testing,
groundwater sampling, final disinfection
Future Work:
•Drilling & construction of monitoring wells (early 2026),
installation of groundwater production pumps, and construction
of a groundwater treatment facility (Spring 2026)
