PC I - Jim Ward spoke against the desalination plant and was opposed to any increase in IT
water rates. He supported the WATER initiative and felt that water supply belonged with
private sector.
PC 2 - Brett Cross expressed concern for the recent filling of Laguna Lake and felt the debris
should be disposed of.
PC;3 - Donald Smith requested numbers for the cost per unit of water per month for
desalination.

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution approving modification of the Parking
Management Plan to offer 10-hour meter permits at a reduced rate as recommended.

RECOMMENDATION: By motion, approve plans and specifications, authorize staff
to advertise for bids and authorize City Administrative Officer to award a contract
to the lowest responsible bidder as recommended.

Consideration of the Short Range Transit Plan/Trolley Evaluation and specifications
for the acquisition of a heavy-duty vehicle to use as the City's primary trolley.
