Hi Hannah,
Thank you for sending this over. We have reviewed the draft conditions of approval and
have a few comments.
- We intend to defer any applicable impact fees until CofO per SB 937. This should
apply to COA items 15, 30 and 53.
- As you aware, our historical consultant provided a letter explaining the impracticality of
the replica lunette window and that letter has been entered into the project documents.
As you also know, we would like to address this item now and prevent further
determination at a later date. For this reason we ask that COA 11(c) be either stricken or
rewritten to indicate that it has already been addressed.
- COA 12 provides that the interpretive panel be reviewed by the CHC and we would
like to confirm that the level of review is limited to the staff referral level and not the
development review level. This project has already been before the CHC committee and
they have analyzed the project and provided recommendations and feedback. Only the
words and location of the interpretive panel remain to be reviewed.
Hopefully we can address these items at or before the directors decision hearing on
Monday.
