Be Well, Jan Jan Cordone Executive Assistant, Trust Automation, Inc. Main: 805.544.0761 • D: 805.548.1266 ITAR and Proprietary Information • Trust Automation Website Values: Safety. Respect. Proud to be a SLO Chamber Ambassador 1 ` Trust Automation • www.trustautomation.com • 805.544.0761 125 Venture Drive, Suite 110, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 November 3, 2025 San Luis Obispo City Council 990 Palm Street San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Mayor Stewart, Honorable Council Members: We feel so fortunate to live here, to have been able to establish Trust Automation as a thriving company that now employs 170 people in jobs that pay head-of-household wages, and to have had the time and resources to be engaged in the community and be able to invest in various worthy causes that we believe advance the community’s quality of life. We are especially excited about SLOMA’s expansion plan now on the drawing board. As purely a business matter, this expansion will benefit downtown businesses by bringing tens of thousands of visitors downtown who will surely want to have a bite to eat, shop and/or have a drink. Also, as others in the community know and have expressed to you, a thriving arts scene contributes to a healthier community, economically and spiritually. We can also tell you from experience that a thriving arts scene will make it easier for us to attract and retain employees. That’s why we have pledged $4 million to help with both phases of SLOMA’s planned expansion: (1) The immediate tenant improvements and (2) the eventual purchase of the Higuera Street properties to ensure the long-term viability of this plan. This pledge represents our single largest philanthropic investment to date. That’s how much we believe this project can regain the downtown’s vibrancy and once again make SLO central to the region’s vitality. We hope you will agree that SLOMA’s plan will prove to be a great investment, and we strongly encourage you to approve SLOMA’s request for financial support. With great appreciation for your leadership and commitment to the City of San Luis Obispo, /s/ Trudie Safreno Trudie Safreno, CFO /s/ Ty Safreno Ty Safreno, CEO
