I hope you move the staff recommendations on for approval. I appreciate the inclusion of multi
family/commercial for a rebate as well as the increased rebate amount and rebate to the seller for the
cost of an inspection. Hopefully this will pay off for the city in the future with more inspections and more
replacements of sewer lines.
As part of the real estate community, we deal with the sewer lateral discussion constantly and having
this kind of ammunition helps us, as well as a seller get past some of the objections for "another"
inspection and possible repair to deal with.
