HomeMy WebLinkAboutALPR FOIA 11.25.25Parking Enforcement utilizes ALPR but PD does not have access to their data and further
inquiries should be directed to them.
We are in the process of bringing our Vigilant system online, but it is not currently being
used by officers. The program is still in its setup phase.
Verkada data is also only stored for 30 days and data is unavailable prior to 30 days ago.
Verkada does not currently support data sharing with other agencies.
Verkada has detected 100211 reads over the last 30 days. There were 224 license plates
searched over the last 30 days by officers. Verkada does not have a feature to identify how
many of those vehicles matched a hot list.
PD also uses Flock which also maintains data for a rolling 30 day period. In the last 30 days
our Flock system has captured 808373 plate reads. We have conducted 418 searches and
had 288 hot list reads.
The Flock Transparency Portal is used by the public and is an optional feature not utilized
by SLOPD.
See the attached Excel network sharing document for agencies that we share data with and
who shares data with SLOPD.
