Subject:Righetti park pump track
Good afternoon
Riding bikes was an integral part of my childhood, the skills and friendships I made throughout my child hood
has made me into the productive human I am today.
Our family travels around the United States every summer visiting various places. One of the key parts of
where we stop is for bike parks and pump tracks.
Anything we can do to get our kids outside and enjoying the sun and our beautiful weather.
An all weather pump track would have a lot of benefits, including but not limited to… Getting people of all ages
outside Engaging parents with their children Building motor skills Providing mentorship to others both in life
and on bikes/ anything with wheels.
These pump tracks can be used by skate boards, scooters, bikes, roller blades and many other things.
Growing up on my bike taught me many things but it’s the things I learned about life from being on my bike.
I have very much enjoyed pouring my blood and sweat into the Laguna lake bike park recently and it’s been
amazing for my physical and mental health. It gives me a healthy outlet for frustration and stress.
Please consider building an all weather pump track in the city of SLO.
I would be happy to discuss this further if I can be of any assistance.
I have been working with Niels with city parks to work on the Laguna lake bike park .
