A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING THE
PROMOTIONAL COORDINATING COMMITTEE BYLAWS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the City of San Luis Obispo's Advisory Body Handbook, the
Promotional Coordinating Committee reviewed its bylaws and the resolution creating the
Committee.
WHEREAS; the Promotional Coordinating Committee wishes to bring its bylaws into
conformance with the Brown Act-and has forwarded recommendations to the City Council to
revise them.
NOW THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo that Article 4, Section G of the Promotional Coordinating Committee Bylaws
is hereby amended to read as follows:
A special meeting may be called at any time by the Chairperson or majority of the
committee members currently serving on the PCC; provided that each. member is
given notice of the special meeting at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, and that
the time and place of the special meeting is announced as required by California
law.
On motion of Council Member Mulholland, seconded by Vice Mayor Schwartz and on the
following role call vote:
AYES Council,Members.Ewan, Mulholland Settle, Vice Mayor Schwartz
and M_a_ yor Romero
