Remarks:
T1 arrived at scene to find a two-story multi-unit (4 unit) apartment building with nothing showing from the exterior. T1 did smell
light smoke but nothing visible. T1 did a 360, nothing showing but T1 crew noticed dark black stained stucco above the 2nd story
Alpha side window. Neighbors face to face with T1, stated the unit was unoccupied and being worked on. T1 crew forced entry on
Alpha side front door, at that time smoke immediately appeared from Alpha side 2nd floor window.
T1 initiated Broad IC, gave a size up and initiated a 1st Alarm.
No fire was ever seen from T1, T1 FF and Tiller utilized a water extinguisher to put out small smoldering fire on division 2 hallway.
Fire smoldering damaged area was approx. 3'x1'.
BC 3 arrived and took Broad IC.
T1 continued ventilation and salvage operations. T1 relieved available upon arrival of inspector.
Upstairs appeared to of been under construction/remodel. All carpet was pulled up, 1 1/8" plywood was exposed on division 2
second floor. After speaking with owners, 2nd floor had been compromised from a water leak, and fans were assisting with drying
the plywood floor.

Additional Narrative (#1 of 1):
BC3 arrived at scene and assumed Broad IC from T1. T1 had reported a small smoldering fire. T1 assigned division A and a
CAN report was requested. T2 assigned to division A. T1 advised they could handle with resources at scene, all incoming resources
cancelled. Investigator and building official requested. Investigator surveyed the scene, building official directed Broad IC to have
PG&E respond and pull the electrical meter. Overhaul was completed exposing unburned framing in all directions, thermal imaging
camera used to verify no hidden heat. T1 and T2 were released, command terminated, BC3 available.
