"Good Morning,
Yesterday, 10/26/25, Truck 1 responded to a
small smoldering fire located on the back side
of a two story, multi-unit apartment building.
The second story exterior staircase (Exit)
was directly effected and compromised due
to wood rot and burn.
Truck 1 spoke with both Resident and Realtor
(liaison of the property at this time). They are
aware of the safety concern and have been
informed there will be a follow up from Fire
Marshall Daniels and the Building Department.

Building Inspection Supervisor Trevor Nelsson
and I visited the property. Upon inspection, I
placed a "Unsafe to Occupy" on the staircase
out back of the property and taped it in
caution tape to prevent access.
